Capriana Walker, COTA/L

Capriana Walker is a COTA/L (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, licensed). She goes by her nickname Capri. After graduation from Salt Lake Community College with a degree in occupational therapy assistant, she completed further training in upper extremity and continues to collaborate closely with therapists to ensure the highest quality of care and rehabilitation for her patients. She is a patient centered practitioner whose motivation is to help patients recover, improve and accomplish the goals individuals necessary for them to fully participate in life without restrictions or discomfort. Capri is passionate about helping people and one of the best perks of patient interaction at Summit Hand Therapy is her love and care in getting to know people on an individual level. Capri is continually growing as a practitioner through continuing education and hands on training with the other skilled therapists at Summit Hand Therapy. She, like all of the therapist at Summit Hand Therapy focus their rehabilitation technique in manual therapy, working hands on with patients to ensure personalized care. Capri loves being a mother, spending time with her husband and her family. When Capri is not busy being a mom and a therapist, she can be found participating in her favorite hobbies: running, hiking and being outdoors.
