Jaime began her career and love of occupational therapy in 2013, when she graduated with her associates degree in occupational therapy and became a licensed COTA. Jaime worked for 5 years in a variety of adult treatment settings, including transitional care, skilled nursing, and acute care. During this time she worked to gain a stronger understanding of her clients occupational needs as well as strengthening her own therapeutic practices. This passion for patient rehabilitation, and providing the best care and healing for patients lead Jaime to go back to school and receive her doctorate in occupational therapy from Concordia University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While working on her doctorate, Jaime worked in a hand therapy clinic where her love for the upper extremity was strengthened. Jamie also has her certificate in lymphedema therapy. After completing her doctoral degree, Jamie was hired at Summit Hand Therapy in the Brigham City clinic. Jaime strives to provide excellence and upper extremity care and rehabilitation. She is not only passionate about getting patients back to the things they love doing, she sincerely cares about individuals. Outside of being a very compassionate hand therapist, Jaime enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and being outdoors. She loves kayaking and camping, hunting with her husband and gardening. She has three children and is learning to navigate her newest role as a grandmother.
